In preparation
To make artificial intelligence (AI) technology truly benefit different communities across Hong Kong, Cardy Tech is actively responding to the direction of the HKSAR Government's "AI for All" Inclusive Programme. We are currently preparing a set of "three core" AI foundation education programmes covering the elderly, parents and teachers, and plan to submit a proposal to Cyberport and other relevant organisations in future, hoping to contribute to digital inclusion in Hong Kong.
Our programmes focus on the needs of the following three core communities. They also respond to public concern about important technology areas such as cybersecurity, data security and AI safety, helping the public build a line of defence:
Starting with how to recognise deepfake and realistic scam messages, relaxed and practical talks help older people build a "verify first, act later" awareness to protect their property and online safety.
Combining online podcasts with in-person workshops, we guide parents to understand digital education trends and to build a healthy digital-life agreement with their children, the ability to tell real information from false, and the habit of using AI responsibly.
We help school staff make good use of AI tools to handle heavy administrative work, deepen their understanding of data privacy protection and technology security, and provide school-based teaching packs so that schools can become front-line hubs for promoting AI literacy.
Cardy Tech looks forward to working closely with schools, social welfare organisations and relevant bodies in future to build a safe, responsible and inclusive AI community environment in Hong Kong.
