Cardy Tech's "AI Integrated Teaching Platform for Schools", developed for primary and secondary schools in Hong Kong, is built around AI visual recognition and machine learning (Computer Vision & ML). Tuck Shop Smart Cashier
Students train an AI to recognise snacks and calculate the total price automatically, learning algorithmic logic and the use of money; the secondary school version can be extended to inventory management and automatic replenishment systems.
Traditional Chinese Costume Recognition
Combining Chinese cultural education, students classify costumes from different dynasties and the characteristics of ethnic minorities, practising multi-class labelling and feature extraction.
Smart Chinese Herbal Medicine Dispensing
Students become "AI herbal dispensers", training a model to recognise the ingredients of herbal tea packs (such as "Five-Flower Tea") and using AI to analyse the herbs' effects and their cooling or warming properties, combining scientific inquiry with traditional cultural heritage.
Speed and Object Detection
Using different camera angles, students measure and calculate the speed of a model car, and analyse data errors and camera calibration.
