"Integrating local intangible cultural heritage into modern innovation and technology to create an immersive competition experience"
Teams from many primary schools across Hong Kong compete on the same stage, combining "the history of the Southern District fishing harbour and boat-building culture" with 3D printing, AI image recognition and micro:bit programming.
A large test pool was built on site for two challenge events, the "Obstacle Avoidance Race" and the "Cargo Tugboat Race", fully testing students' computational thinking and problem-solving skills.
The event attracted active participation from many schools, showing strong mobilisation across the school sector and on-site event management, and received high praise from the school sector.

"Stepping out of the classroom to explore local history and pass on unique local culture"
Teachers and students visit the Southern District fishing harbour in Hong Kong in person, observe traditional fishing boat structures and the look of the harbour first-hand, and experience the changes in history and community culture.
Materials collected on the tour (such as sampan photos and historical stories) feed directly into STEAM lessons, putting interdisciplinary learning into practice.
